Great app. But why does it need internet access? If I put flight mode on iphone asks me to switch wifi on or flight mode off.

Thanks for the message, Adam.
This application is not related to WiFi or 3G connection. It will access to iPhone’s iPod library only.
We’ll check this, please wait for a moment.

Adam, we’ve checked this issue. The flag named “Application uses Wi-Fi” in this program is set mistakenly.
We’ll fix this issue next version. Now version 1.1 is under review process so it will be fixed version 1.2.
This application never access internet, so please put your mind at ease. We apologize for your inconvenience, and thank you for notifying us!

Thank you for your cooperation !!!
We appreciate it.

Your site does not indicate whether or not the app works when phone is in silent mode. Please clarify?

Thank you for the comment, Pravin. Sorry to be late to answer ’cause the notification of this blog didn’t work this time.
“Pocket Music Alarm” works even in silent mode, like an iPod built-in application. I hope this comment helps you. Thanks!

I love this application because of its simplicity.
Problem: When I try to add multiple songs to the song list (either wake or sleep) in the latest version (1.3), the application quits.
Request: the ability to repeat the sleep list
Thank-you kindly,
David

Thank you for the comment, David. Unfortunately I don’t have a device of iPhone OS 3.0. I’ve been testing under OS 3.1.2.
The latest version 1.4 has been released. Could you try version 1.4 and tell me about that?
When the app crashed, I will recieve the crash report from Apple. There is no crash report.
Your cooperating would be helpful, thank you!

The app is so great! I love this app. Adding/Removing songs feature from version 1.3 is *VERY* useful for me. Just want to say that

The application now works after upgrading the OS to 3.1.2. Thanks.

I’m happy to hear that, David! And the next update version is under Apple’s review. It repeats songs in the sleep list except zero-minutes sleep timer setting. In addition, you can changed sleep timer to more than 30 minutes. I hope you like it, thank you.

I tried to download this app but was presented with the message “This App Is Incompatible With This iPod Touch
This app requires a microphone.” !!!
What’s going on?
I have a first generation Touch running 3.1.2.

Thank you for the comment, Alan. First of all, Pocket Music Alarm doesn’t have audio input function inside.
You’re running on OS 3.1.2, that’s fine. However, This app’s requirements is “Compatible with iPhone and iPod touch (2nd generation)” as you can see on iTune App Store.
Anyway, I’ll investigate about this because this app does not have audio-input function and I’ll write back when something has found.
Thank you for the report!

According to the developer forum, OS 3.0 on a 1st generation iPod gives that error, – “This app is incompatible with this iPod Touch. This app requires a microphone” -. iTunes doesn’t know what device the customer has so they can buy it.
I’m still looking for a solve, but officially this app’s requirements is iPhone and 2nd generation iPod Touch.

Great app, my favorite alarm app, but one issue; you cant seem to shuffle the playlist that you fall asleep to, that would be a great function (note that the playlist I fall asleep to caintains only podcasts, which play fine, but would like to shuffle the list).
Thanks!

Thanks for a comment Robert !
I’m happy to hear from you.
To shuffle asleep songlist,
1) turn on “Shake to Shuffle” option.
2) Shake your iPhone/iPod touch on the Songlist (asleep) screen.
or you’re talking about “Auto Shuffle (for asleep)”?
Thanks a lot!

I just downloaded the app. I have a 3-bars WiFi connection. The time is 4-5 minutes slow. I am in NYC. Any ideas ? Thanks.

Thanks for the comment, Alex.
The app’s display time will come from the system time of your iPhone/iPod touch.
Therefore, the time displayed the top status bar and the app’s time should be same.
And this app has no WiFi related function.
Please tell me there is difference between the time that has been displayed on the top status-bar and the time on the app?

I’m an idiot. I’ve known that the iPhone time has been wrong since I got it and I didn’t put that together with the wrong time on PMA. Thanks for the response
